Visitor of Hermitage robbed of $15,000
From another visitor of the museum, almost $ 500 in cash were stolen.
In the Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg, two foreign visitors lost their wallets when they were observing art. According to one of the victims, 28, more than 1 million rubles ($ 15,000) was written off of her card. From another victim, 67, the unknown thief took 29 thousand rubles ($ 435) in cash, Fontanka reports.
The tourists went to the police on December 4th. Investigators initiated two criminal cases of theft. The identity of the offender has not yet been established.
