Video footage of attack on Tatyana Felgengauer hits the web
The attacker could be mentally disturbed.
The Mash Telegram channel has uploaded a video taken by the surveillance cameras of the Ekho Moskvy (Echo of Moscow) office on Novy Arbat on the day the radio host was stabbed.
The clip shows the offender walking along the corridors of the building and then finding the room where Felgengauer was at the moment. He stabs her in the neck and a fuss begins. Felgengauer is running out of the room, her hand pressed to her neck. Blood is dripping from the wound. The staff is rushing to help the woman. Colleagues take Tatyana outside.
The attack on the Echo of Moscow host occurred on October 23. The suspect is a 48-year-old Israeli and Russian citizen Boris Grits. He splashed a gas cartridge into the guard’s face and got into the editorial office. Once he found Tatyana Felgengauer, he stabbed her in the throat. She was taken to the hospital and operated on. Her condition is stable now.
A criminal case was initiated under part 3 of Art. 30 and part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (Attempted Murder). During the interrogation, Grits said he and Tatyana Felgengauer had had a "telepathic contact." She used a supernatural power to get into the man’s mind and "torture” him sexually, he said. The investigators believe that Grits is faking madness.
Grits pleaded partially guilty.
