The deceased lived in the north of Moscow in a house building on Sofia Kovalevskaya Street. The bodies were found by the mother of Smirnova, who came from the Vladimir region. Before that, she tried to contact her daughter, but no one answered. Investigators found knife wounds on the bodies of Smirnovs, and the boy’s head was wrapped in scotch tape. The investigation suspects the honey-boy of Smirnova in the murder.
The investigative committee initiated a criminal case under Double Murder (part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
