REN TV has published a video of the detention of the son of former Senator Timur Gallyamov, who chased after the police and intentionally run over a Road Patrol Service officer while on cocaine.

The video is taken with the dashboard camera of the police officer, who took part in the detention. It shows the police putting handcuffs on Gallyamov Jr.

Timur, the son of ex-Minister of Sports of the Moscow region and former Senator from the Amur region, Amir Gallyamov, was detained in Moscow on May 26. The police stopped Gallyamov's Land Cruiser to check his documents, after which the senator’s son decided to escape from the inspectors. A Road Patrol Service squad went after the violator. An inspector approached the SUV near Mosfilmvskaya Street, and that was when Gallyamov run over the police officer and tried to flee the scene. However, he did not make it far. Witnesses noted his inadequate behavior during detention.
