A video showing the death of a 15-year-old girl at the Yanaul station in Bashkortostan on September 23 hit the Web.
In the video, the minor stepped in front of a moving train. After the train passed, the girl’s body was lying on the rails; it was discovered by a station employee.
“This case is under control. All circumstances of the incident are being clarified. All necessary actions are carried out, examinations appointed,” Dmitry Zakharov, press officer of the ICR Volga Investigation Department for Transport said.
Station head Danila Taztdinov said the girl born in 2003 was from Neftekamsk.
The 15-year-old girl was an orphan and lived with a guardian, ProUfu reported. She deleted all her social networks accounts shortly before the incident.
The girl was looking at the trains, when a guard came up to her and asked what she was doing here. He noted that the girl seemed to be in a good mood. When she saw a freight train approaching, she jumped under it and ended up in the carriage, which resulted in a fatal injury.
