The murderer, who killed a 44-year-old man out of jealousy in Voronezh, presented himself in court as an employee of the US embassy, ​​Komsomolskaya Pravda writes. The arrested stabbed a man 18 times with a knife screaming that he would not approach his wife. The court sent the suspect to a SIZO until September 8.

Investigators opened a criminal case on the murder (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The crime was committed on the evening of July 7, near the house number 3 on Komarov Street in Voronezh, the press service of the regional administration of the Investigative Committee reports.

43-year-old Yevgeny Abramkin was hiding in a rented apartment in the Leninsky district, where he was detained; the weapon of the crime was seized - a knife. The killer faces up to 15 years in prison.
