US Embassy’s employee slaughtered Voronezh resident out of jealousy
The victim received 18 stab wounds and died on the way to a hospital.
The murderer, who killed a 44-year-old man out of jealousy in Voronezh, presented himself in court as an employee of the US embassy, Komsomolskaya Pravda writes. The arrested stabbed a man 18 times with a knife screaming that he would not approach his wife. The court sent the suspect to a SIZO until September 8.
Investigators opened a criminal case on the murder (part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The crime was committed on the evening of July 7, near the house number 3 on Komarov Street in Voronezh, the press service of the regional administration of the Investigative Committee reports.
43-year-old Yevgeny Abramkin was hiding in a rented apartment in the Leninsky district, where he was detained; the weapon of the crime was seized - a knife. The killer faces up to 15 years in prison.
The kid reasoned that his 70-year-old grandmother would suffer because of what he was going to do to himself and therefore decided to kill her. He stabbed the woman 21 times and finished her off with a hammer.
