In Novosibirsk, unknown blew up the bank office located on Pervomayskaya Street. The incident occurred on January 22 at about 5 am in the branch of Binbank. Komsomolskaya Pravd a reports citing sources that there was a lot of money in the vehicles, but the hijackers could not reach them.
“The ATMs were not opened, the funds were not stolen,” the press service of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Novosibirsk region reported.
According to the NGS website, the explosion in the bank is a consequence of an unsuccessfully attempted robbery: according to one of the versions, the criminals tried to break the ATMs in the building with gas cylinders.
As a result of an explosion, no one was hurt. A criminal case under Art. 167 of the Criminal Code (Intentional Destruction or Damage to Property) was initiated. Measures are being carried out to search for criminals.
