Ukrainian beaten during Russia vs. Croatia dies in Turkey
An emergency occurred in one of the resorts of the Turkish province of Antalya.
According to Interfax-Ukraine, 57-year-old Ukrainian and 30-year-old Russian had a fight when watching the World Cup match between the national teams of Croatia and Russia.
A resident of Zaporozhye was seriously injured. He was hospitalized. He was in a coma for a week and passed away without regaining consciousness.
The victim’s family said that Turkish police fined Russian by $800, and then he left for Russia.
The match between Croatia and Russia was held on July 7. The game ended in a draw in the main (1:1) and extra time (2:2). The Croatians defeated the Russians in a penalty shootout (4:3).
