Ufa: unknown shot businessman in head
This is the third attack on entrepreneurs in the capital of Bashkortostan.
In Ufa, an assault to murder on 40-year-old owner of the St. Petersburg plant of metal structures Pavel Kabanov was committed, Bashinform reports. On the morning of October 20, an unknown man caught a businessman in an underground car park along Mingazheva Street and shot him in the head.
Kabanov was hospitalized in serious condition. The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan initiated a criminal investigation into the attempted murder. Presumably the shots were committed from a combat pistol. Currently, investigators are inspecting the car of the victim. Dog handlers with dogs are combing out the area next to the businessman’s house. It is noted that one of the parking workers noted that three claps had been heard, but did not give any other details.
In addition to the plant in St. Petersburg, Pavel Kabanov was the founder of several companies in Ufa.
Attempt on Kabanov became the third attack on Ufa entrepreneurs from the end of August 2017. August 28 the car of assistant lawyer to Nikolay Chimchuk Sergey Kozhevnikov exploded. September 28 at Mendeleeva the street entrepreneur’s car associated with tenders was fired. The woman was not hurt.
On September 21, kingpin Vladimir Vagin, aka Vagon, hanged himself. Two years earlier another thief in law Max Pioner also committed suicide. Vagon's lawyer does not believe in the version of suicide and intends to apply for a forensic medical examination.
