Ufa rapist policemen fired before trial
Galiev, Yaromchuk and Matveyev

The reason is “committing misdemeanors discrediting honor and dignity.”

Three Ufa police officers who raped a young colleague were fired from the authorities with the wording “for committing misdemeanors discrediting honor and dignity.” The management did not wait for the trial, reports the Telegram-channel Mash.

The head of the MIA Department for the Ufa District, Eduard Matveyev, the head of the MIA Department for the Karmaskalinsky District, Salavat Galiev and the head of the Migration Department for the Ufa Region, Major Pavel Yaromchuk, lost their jobs. They became defendants in a criminal case of rape (Article 131 CCRF) and sexual assault (Article 132 CCRF). The victim, according to RIA Novosti, is a relative of the National Guard’s deputy head in Bashkortostan, Irek Sagitov.

The now-former policemen were drinking alcoholic beverages in the workplace and invited the colleague. She could not refuse her superior and joined the celebration, after which was subjected to violence. The next day, the detective appealed to the ICR, and the rapists were detained.

The acquaintances of the former policemen characterize them positively, however, Matveyev has already been a defendant in a criminal case. In the early 2010s, he was accused of selling a stolen car, but managed to avoid punishment. In addition, the former head of the Ufa District police was friends with prosecutor Ramil Garifullin accused of bribery.
