Udmurt man pardoned after death sentence rapes seven-year-old
The criminal offered sweets and an amusement ride to the girl and lured her into a quiet courtyard.
In Udmurtia, a 56-year-old man is accused of sexual abuse of a seven-year-old girl, whom he molested in the courtyard of an apartment building, according to investigators. The incident occurred on August 4 in Glazov. The man approached the girl in a playground. He lured the child with promises to buy sweets and an amusement ride, the ICR press service said.
After committing the violence, the man fled. The girl turned to a sales assistant of the nearest store, telling about what had happened to her.
The police arrived at the call and detained the man having identified him through video surveillance cameras. He had a prior conviction and sentenced to death. In 1998, he was pardoned and released on parole three years ago. Since then, the accused has not worked anywhere and lived alone. The news report does not say what he had received the death penalty for.
The law enforcement authorities are investigating whether the man accused under part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is involved in other crimes, such as those affecting young children.
Not so much time has passed since the death of Igor ‘Adolf’ Minakov, and, as many predicted, the silent transition to possible successors of the funeral empire, which he built on the shoulders of his mobs, failed. The newly-emerging representatives of ritual services not only steal the bread from the mouths of former ‘royal subjects,’ but also control the city elections with their fists.
