Two officers from Patrol and Inspection Service arrested carrying pack of heroin
On Saturday night Rosgvardiya officers (Federal National Guard Troops Service) arrested two policemen in Moscow's Chertanovo district and seized a packet of heroin.
This happened after the Rosgvardiya officers pulled over a car with five men inside.
An inspection of the vehicle revealed that two of the passengers were from Cheryomushki Service (Patrol and Inspection Service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs). One of them was carrying heroin.
REN TV said that service checks have been initiated in respect of Captain Yashar Gasimov, the superior of the arrested men.
Moscow MIA commented on the incident and promised to penalize the police officers if proven guilty, and to hold accountable their direct superiors.
According to Margarita Vennberg, Ivan Rubin borrowed 40 thousand euros from businessman Vladimir Tyurenkov about a year ago. When Rubin delayed payments, Tyurenkov raised interest, and the amount of the debt increased to 70 thousand euros.
