Two Moscow malls closed after fire
The activity of shopping centers is suspended for 90 days.
The Izmaylovsky Court of Moscow suspended the work of the shopping centers Persey and Serebryanyi Dom out of violations of fire safety. The suit over the closure of the malls was filed by the Prosecutor's Office of the Eastern Administrative District, according to the Moscow news agency.
According to the information of the agency, management of case concerning mall Persey will be held on May 11 at 5:40pm, Serebryanyi Dom - on June 4 at 12:30am.
So far, the court has made a ruling on imposing provisional measures in the form of prohibition of activity for 90 days in relation to both malls.
Recall that on April 4 the Persey mall was on fire, which killed one person and injured five employees of the Ministry of Emergency. On this fact, the capital's investigation opened a criminal case under the articles Causing Death by negligence and Negligence.
