Trump responds to info that Russia has dirt on him
Donald Trump said there was “a total political witch hunt” in the United States. The President-elect commented the reports that Russian security services had compromising materials on him.

Earlier, CNN said that US intelligence services informed Trump and Obama that the Russian security services had certain incendiary material compromising the president-elect. According to the TV channel, both Presidents were briefed about that last week at a meeting focused on a classified report on the Russian interference in the U.S. elections.
Later, BuzzFeed published the entire document saying it had been prepared by Trump’s opponents informed by an ex-British spy and contains some spelling errors.
Trump had used the "political witch hunt" expression before, in late December, speaking of the cyber attack charges against Russia.
Lieutenant General Oleg Troshin announced he is going to retire in May 2018. He is doing it following a decision taken a year ago – not due to non-existent issues with the agency reported by some local media outlets.
A serious and not at all political clash of interests is taking place at the Russian Federation Council. Kamchatka senators Valery Ponomarev and Boris Nevzorov are failing at deciding how to divide the Kamchatka water resources; both men make millions of dollars off of them every year.
