Togliatti: robber who attacked microloans offices wearing bunny suit detained

The investigation determined that the attacker is involved in three robberies.

Man who attacked microloans offices in a city of Togliatti wearing a bunny suit and an animal mask has been detained, reports REN TV. The TV-channel published a video caught on CCTV of one office. The video shows the man wearing an animal suit and threatening the cashier with a gun.

The first robbery is reported to have taken place on August 15, on Dzerzhinsky street. The robber took 2.6 thousand rubles ($40) from the office. In 30 minutes, he attacked an organization located on Liza Chaikina street, however he did not manage to steal anything there.

The suspect and his accomplice were detained by police. According to information by the regional directorate of MIA, the criminals are brothers. The men were taken to a police division for the proceedings. It was found out they were involved in three instances of robbery.

The brothers say they spent what they had stolen on their own needs. Criminal case was initiated.
