Investigators of the ICR studied the correspondence of former Head of the Ramensky district of the Moscow region, Andrey Kulakov, and his mistress, Yevgenia Isaenkova, which preceded Isaenkova’s murder. In reports, the woman threatened to end the relationship with the official because she was tired of secret meetings. It is reported by the TV channel REN TV with reference to its own sources.

Isaenkova disappeared on the night of May 2, two days later she was found dead in the forest, and Kulakov's DNA was found in the car. The head of the region freed the post ahead of time. The ex-official denies the blame, but the polygraph test indicated a lie.
