Three Saratov region officials died in car accident
Three employees of the Ministry of Social Development of the Saratov region have died in a traffic accident near Saratov.
Regional emergency services have told Interfax that the incident occurred at 17:30 near the Elshanka village in the Voskresensky district of Saratov region.
According to eyewitnesses, while driving on the highway, Chevrolet-Niva first swerved, and then flew into a ditch, crashing into a pole at high speed.
There were three passengers in the car: a male driver and two women. They all died on the spot. According to the press service of the Ministry of Social Development of the Saratov region, the accident claimed the lives of Deputy Head of Static Facilities Department Serafima Pervushina, Assistant of Static Facilities Department Natalya Glinskaya, and driver Ilgiz Bikbaev.
The traffic police are currently acknowledging the reasons for the accident. In the words of Head of the Regional Rescue Service Yury Yurin, a sudden deterioration of the driver’s health was the cause of the accident.
