Three Magadan border guards carry out massacre, resulting in two deaths
Co-workers quarreled during a booze and called knifes into play.
Senior warrant officer Vladimir Isachenko, a contract serviceman for the FSB, and ensign I. Iskhakov died as a result of a drunken brawl in an apartment provided by the military, Kommersant reports. The third person who participated in the booze, senior midshipman Pavlov A.V, remained alive.
In August 2016, the three border guards served in the area of a river fishing site. Due to bad weather, the shift squad arrived three days later, on August 29. The outgoing personnel stayed overnight in an apartment allocated for them in the village of Gizhiga, so that to depart to the village of Evenk in the morning. There, three friends got drunk and quarreled.
As the FSB probe established, ensign Iskhakov was the first to grab the knife. He attacked Isachenko and stabbed him several times. Then he rushed to Pavlov. A struggle ensued, as a result of which Pavlov took possession of the knife and stabbed Iskhakov. Isachenko died at the scene from blood loss.
Isachenkov’s relatives tried to obtain compensation through courts, but they were refused, since the soldier died not in the line of duty.
