This is not question to Roscosmos: Dmitry Rogozin found source of problems of corporation in lack of budget
He noted that the budget of the corporation is 20 times less than that of the United States.
Head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin explained what lies behind the state corporation's problems with "promising projects," while disclaiming responsibility for lagging behind the Americans. Responding to criticism of Internet users in his Twitter account, he noted that the corporate budget is 20 times less than that of the United States. In terms of funding, the space industry is seriously lagging behind NASA.
“This is a big problem for us in terms of supporting promising projects. But this is not a question to Roscosmos,” the official explained to Internet users.
Recall the budget of the Russian space industry for the next three years will be more than 515 billion rubles ($7.7 bln).
At the same time, Dmitry Rogozin rejected the assumption that the space industry of Russia is lagging behind in technical terms as well. But he said that this is possible in the future.
Speaking about the lack of budget funds, Rogozin said nothing about the grand construction of the building of the National Space Center in Moscow Fili district. Recall, for the construction of a huge skyscraper in the form of a rocket, it was decided to allocate 8 billion ($120 mln) budget funds, most of which are taxable. The corresponding bill was submitted by Moscow Mayor Sobyanin to the Moscow City Duma.
Shortly before that, Dmitry Medvedev criticized the work of Roscosmos and demanded that officials work better.
By approving the pension reform, Russian lawmakers have admitted the frailty of life. For instance, 62-year-old Viktor Ozerov, Senator from the Khabarovsk Krai, has suddenly got tired and decided to retire. ‘Authoritative’ businessman Aleksander Shishkin is eager to succeed him. A former Senator and member of the Committee for Defense and Security, Shishkin is concerned about his personal safety and immunity.
