"Thank you all, bye now" – male body in diver’s equipment found in Moscow apartment

The man left his wife and children for another woman, but the affair did not work out.

The body of a 36-year-old man in a gas mask, with a nitrogen tank connected was found in an apartment in the south-west of Moscow. On the eve of the incident, the Muscovite changed his status in a messenger to "Thank you all, bye now." Moskovsky Komsomolets tells the story.

The man's name was Vitaly; he lived alone with a Maine Coon cat and was a diver. The man had a boy of six and a girl of eight, whom he abandoned together with his wife for another woman. However, his new relationship also failed.

Vitaly had once been saved after a suicide attempt. The man locked himself in a car, having pushed a hose connected to an exhaust pipe into the passenger compartment. Vitaly underwent treatment; however, his depression did not go away, apparently.
