The investigation has collected the evidence base.
In the near future, the Prosecutor's Office of Komsomolsk-on-Amur is to consider a criminal case against the teacher who beat a school student last autumn.
The website of the ICR Investigations Directorate in the Khabarovsk region says that the entire evidence base has been collected in the case.
The 50-year-old primary school teacher of the Komsomolsk-on-Amur secondary school No. 37 will be tried under Art. 156 of the Russian Criminal Code (Improper discharging of the duties of bringing up a minor by a teacher or other worker of an educational establishment associated with the cruel treatment of the minor).
The teacher has been removed from office, but does not admit her guilt.
The Prosecutor General's Office had earlier accused the Moscow region’s ex-official of exceeding official authority, taking a bribe on an especially large scale, and forgery, and demanded to seize assets worth of 9 billion rubles ($135 million) from him.
