According to Mash public page, the conflict between the suspect and Drachev arose on the basis of a dispute about "what is cooler – gym or martial arts". According to an eyewitness, who was in the establishment along with Drachev, the suspect provoked him to fight several times and the fight that was recorded on the video was the third skirmish between the athlete and the suspect. The witness claims that at first the suspect surreptitiously hit Drachev with his foot when he wrote down his phone number, so that, as the sportsman suggested, sort out their relationship in the ring the next day when they are sober. Then he took advantage of the moment when Drachev gave his friend a T-shirt and a phone and struck him a few more blows, as a result of which he cut the powerlifter's nose and inflicted a bruise. And only in the third fight the attacker actually finished off the athlete.

Meanwhile, it became known that the conflict between the suspect and Drachev could have long-standing roots. As reported by Amur-Media, Andrei Drachev and his alleged murderer once were engaged in free-style wrestling in one school in Khabarovsk and may have known each other until Drachev quit wrestling after the injury and started doing bodybuilding. This was reported to the agency by the honored coach of Russia Vladimir Mulin, who worked with Andrei Drachev.

The Far Eastern Federation of Modern Pankration refuted the information that appeared yesterday on the fact that the suspect in the murder of Drachev was a professional fighter of the MMA. According to the Head of the federation Dmitry Konkov, Allakhveranov has nothing to do with it, and the sports facility has not known his name before. At the same time, he notes that there are a lot of sports clubs in the city, and judging by the photos of the alleged killer in social networks, he visited Khabarovsk Fight Club called Master, and not only trained in it, but also worked as a coach.

According to Kontur-Fokus data, one of the founders of Fight Club Master is Natig Aliyar ogly Allakhveranov. It is noteworthy that the legal and actual addresses of Master coincide with the registration of the wanted for the murder Anar Allakhveranov, indicated in the suspect profile.

Vostok-Media notes that Natig Aliyar ogly Allakhveranov was convicted in 2015 under Art.111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Intentional Infliction of a Grave Injury). Under the same article a criminal case was opened on the murder of Andrei Drachev. Yesterday Komsomolskaya Pravda-Khabarovsk also reported that brother of Allakhveranov was serving a sentence for a similar crime.

According to the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities, the founders of Master club are also Roman Kovalev and Evgeny Rufanov. Rufanov, together with Natig Allakhveranov, was involved as a defendant in the case on intentional infliction of grave harm to health. On June 16, 2015, both were sentenced to four years' suspended prison term. According to the materials of the court, the accused beat their friend, who, in their opinion, owed one of them a sum of money. As a result of the beating, the victim received a closed craniocerebral injury. However, the victim appealed against the decision of the Central District Court and in September 2015 the perpetrators were given a real term in a strict regime colony. The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation rejected the cassation of Allakhveranov's lawyer.

Notably, Natig Allakhveranov remained the founder and the head of the fight club, although, Vostok-Media notes, according to the federal law On public associations a person being held in places of deprivation of liberty by a court verdict can not be a founder, member or participant of a public association. For this the organization was fined for 10 thousand rubles ($169) by a court decision.

The Unified State Register of Legal Entities states that in addition to Fight Club Master, Natig Allakhveranov owns an eponymous private security company, which two weeks ago (07/08/2017) concluded a state contract worth 735,000 rubles ($12.4 thousand) with regional state autonomous institution Khabarovsk Krai's Sport Development Center as a sole supplier to render services on security of sports and recreation complex Yunost (Youth) in the third quarter of 2017.

The world and European champion in powerlifting Andrey Drachev was killed in a domestic fight in front of numerous witnesses in the center of Khabarovsk on August 20 at around 7 o'clock in the morning. At first it was reported that he died in intensive care, but a source in the city health department said that Drachev was taken to the hospital without any signs of life. On the fact of the incident the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee in Khabarovsk Krai opened a criminal case under part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Intentional Infliction of a Grave Injury, which has involved the death of the victim by negligence).
