Suspect in murder of MIA’s Center “E” head for in Ingushetia fled to Chechnya
The alleged customer of the crime may have administrative resources in Grozny.
The main suspect in the murder of the head of MIA’s Center for Combating Extremism for Ingushetia, Ibragim Eldzharkiev, flew out using forged documents from Vnukovo Airport to Chechnya two days after committing the crime, the Baza publication reported. Part of the Belkhoroyev clan, to which the customer of the murder can belong, allegedly is under the auspices of Grozny.
According to the Baza’s Telegram channel, the suspect drove to Vnukovo in a taxi and checked in for UT561, falling into the field of view of video surveillance cameras. According to the publication, the Belkhoroyevs clan is divided into two branches: one cooperated with the authorities of Chechnya, and the other with the former head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.
In particular, Ibragim Belkharoev, who was killed at the end of 2018, allegedly, had Chechen ties. The investigation considers his death to be the motive for the murder of Eldzharkiev, since before his death he was already the victim of an assassination attempt – shortly after Belkharoev’s death.
Earlier, the investigation reported that the main suspect in the murder of the head of the Center “E” for Ingushetia left Moscow by bus to Khasavyurt.
