The Olympic biathlon champion ended his sports career at the end of 2018.

The election commission of the Sverdlovsk region found 13.6-million-rubles’ worth of assets in the ownership of Anton Shipulin, the Olympic biathlon champion and State Duma nominee. The candidate forgot to declare 10-million-rubles’ worth of Sberbank bonds (10.000 shares) and 3.6-million-rubles’ worth of 50 structured notes of Commerzbank AG, as well as more than two thousand rubles in an account at Otkritie Bank and an empty account at VTB.

Shipulin declared the following properties: 11 land plots in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, two apartments with an area of ​​130.1 and 48.8 square meters, two residential buildings with an area of ​​545 square meters and 303.2 square meters, nine non-residential premises, 27 bank accounts with 2.6 million rubles and year’s income of 9.9 million rubles for 2018. In addition, the candidate owns two cars (a BMW X6 xDrive30d and a Toyota Land Cruiser 60), a motorcycle, a Toyota Land Cruiser LX bus, a trailer, a snow and swamp vehicle.

Shipulin is the Development Director at the Charity Fund entitled A.V. Shipulin’s Sverdlovsk Region Sports Support Fund. His income sources are stated as follows: Comedy Club Production LLC, GALLERY-ALEX LLC (the legal entity of the Shokoladnitsa coffee house chain), Union of St. John the Warrior (the legal entity of the Verny store chain) and a number of commercial organizations.
