State Duma initiated check in banks Yugra, Otkrytiye and Binbank
The lower house of parliament sent inquiries to law enforcement agencies and the Central Bank with the requirement to find out the reasons, which have led to the withdrawal of assets.
The State Duma ordered committees on financial market and on safety to send inquiries to the Bank of Russia and law enforcement agencies to initiate a check of banks Yugra, FC Otkrytiye and Binbank. Parliamentarians intend to find out what has brought to such rapid loss of assets of the financial organizations and to make guilty persons responsible.
According to deputy of the State Duma Valery Hartung, investors of the banks which lost licenses, literally attack receptions of the deputies.
To recall, the Central Bank revoked the license of Yugra bank in the end of July. Then FC Otkrytiye passed under control of the regulator, and in September owners of Binbank requested sanitation from the Bank of Russia.
The deputy director of the institution Imuschestvo (Property), Alexander Ivanov, and deputy director of the property fund of St. Petersburg, Ilya Zhinkin, gave companies the pre-emptive right to buy out the areas on Nevsky.
The opposition leader was detained in the afternoon of February 22 in Moscow while he was walking out of a dental clinic. Navalny is accused of a second participation in an unsanctioned event, for which he faces up to 30 days of jail.
No violations have been revealed in the criminal prosecution of Colonel Zakharchenko’s family members. The appeal of lawyer Emelyanov to the president was forwarded to the Prosecutor General's Office and the ICR.
