St. Petersburg subway: another bomb on Ploshad Vosstaniya
The St. Petersburg metro is completely closed.
At the station Ploshchad Vosstaniya (metro of St. Petersburg) there was found another unexploded bomb. This is reported by Fontanka. At the moment, it is neutralized.
In the meantime, as the press service of the subway said, all metro stations in St. Petersburg are closed. Such unprecedented measures were taken after two explosions that occurred today at 2:30 pm at the metro stations Sennaya Ploshchad and Technologichesky Institut. According to preliminary data, 10 people were killed, 20 more were injured.
As reported by TASS with reference to its sources, the explosive power was 200 and 300 grams in TNT equivalent. Governor of the city Georgy Poltavchenko declared emergency situation.
