St. Petersburg: BMW rams into Police Patrol and Checkpoint Service car

Both drivers have been hospitalized.

A passenger car has rammed into a Police Patrol and Checkpoint Service’s Patriot UAZ with its blinker on on the Western High-Speed Diameter in St. Petersburg, 112 reports.

The serious accident occurred before the turnoff for on Krasnoputilovskaya street on December 15 at about 3:00 p.m.  

The collision took place between a police car and a BMW. As reported by witnesses via DTP i ChP Sankt-Peterburg, the UAZ rolled over on its side, and BMW’s bumper was crumpled. One victim was seen lying on the road. 

Fontanka reports referring to the press service of the MIA Department in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region that both drivers were injured in the collision between the service car and BMW. Preliminary information indicates that there are no heavy injuries.

Circumstances of the accident are being established, however, according to preliminary data, it was caused by BMW's driver.
