Son of former Liberal Democratic Party MP is culprit of serious accident
CCTV filmed the accident.
The accident involving 21-year-old silverspooner Martin Shaginyan occurred on Friday. The son of Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) deputy Armen Shaginyan drove through a red light and rammed into an Audi. As a result of the incident, two men were taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
The video depicted that Martin Shaginyan was behind the wheel of the Mercedes-Benz GLE. He, ignoring the prohibiting traffic signal, was trying to cross the intersection on 1st Brestskaya Street and Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street, but crashed into an Audi car. The crossover took off to the sidewalk, on which there were no pedestrians, and turned 360 degrees.
It is specified that Martin Shaginyan himself was not injured. The driver and passenger of Audi TT received injuries. It is reported that one victim was hospitalized with a fracture of the clavicle and a head injury. The second one also suffered a brain injury and was hospitalised.
The Office of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate in Moscow reported investigation was underway.
