Someone douses celebrated lawyer with acid, tries to steal car, Moscow
The attacker and the lawyer started a fight, but then the former disappeared.
There was an attack on the lawyer Alexander Lipatnikov in Moscow. Someone doused the man with acid near his building and tried to steal his car.
"I was attacked in the courtyard of my building today. I'm fine now," Alexander wrote on Facebook.
Later he reported that the man had got onto the driver's seat of his car and tried to drive away. Lipatnikov was able to resist the attacker for some time, but then he got chemical burns of his face and eyes and could not fight anymore. The unknown man also changed his mind about stealing the car and fled the scene.
According to the lawyer, he was lucky enough to have no grave implications, because the ambulance arrived soon.
"Police officers led by the Crime Unit chief officer of the district were quick to arrive. They are looking for the criminals," Lipatnikov added.
Alexander Lipatnikov is known as a lawyer representing motorists in courts.
