On the eve the website of Open Russia was included in the register of sites containing calls for riots, extremist activity consummation and materials of a foreign or international non-governmental organization which activities are recognized as undesirable on the territory of Russia. After that, Internet providers blocked access to the site at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office.
For the same reason, the sites of the Open Russia movement, Open Elections and Open University, as well as khodorkovsky.ru were blocked.
