Сhief of police department in Tatarstan commits suicide
Presumably, a pistol was the suicide weapon.
In Bugulma, the chief of the line police department has committed suicide. This is reported by the Tatarstan portal ProKazan.ru with reference to its source.
According to the publication’s source, the incident occurred on June 22. Law enforcement officers found the chief’s body in his office; his service pistol, which, in all likelihood, served as a weapon of suicide, was lying next to him.
The source also noted that the deceased took up his post in Bugulma relatively recently. Prior to that, he had worked in Kazan. The Investigative Committee has initiated a check into the incident, the portal’s interlocutor said.
