Security officers detained Vice-Governor of Primorye Sergey Sidorenko
There was no official report on operational and investigative actions. Previously, searches were held at senior official's sibling.
Vice-Governor of the Primorsky region Sergey Sidorenko, who oversees Agriculture and Fisheries, was detained by security forces. It is reported by RIA PrimaMedia citing a source in law enforcement agency. However, it is not specified upon which case he was detained.
Senior Assistant of the ID ICR in the Primorsky region Aurora Rimskya said that the Investigation Committee is not connected to the operational activities. The interlocutor of the regional edition pointed out that the detention was carried out under the supervision of the regional FSB.
The Primorsky Regional Administration did not comment on the detention, but confirmed that Sidorenko did not come to work. The Deputy Governor is not responding on the phone.
Earlier, media reported that top official's brother Vladimir Sidorenko, the Head of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Dalnevostochnoe (brand Surazhevka), was searched last week. Then the Vice-Governor has not confirmed nor denied the reports of journalists.
"With regard to searches at my brother, really, some actions have been conducted. I can not say for sure whether it was just searches,"- said Sergey Sidorenko to RIA PrimaMedia.
The Federal State Unitary Enterprise Dalnevostochnoe (FSUE), headed by Vladimir Sidorenko, is engaged in the cultivation of agricultural products. The FSUE is the largest greenhouse complex in the Primorsky region and the leading enterprise for vegetable protected ground.
Note that for the current year it is the second arrest of the Deputy Governor of the region Vladimir Miklushevky. Recall, April 30, the Head of the region accepted the resignation of Vice-Governor Oleg Yezhov, who oversaw the construction industry. On May 4, Yezhov was detained by FSB officers on suspicion of abuse of official powers. At the moment, he is in the pre-trial detention center in Vladivostok. Our

New details appear in the case against Samara prosecutor Andrei Pavlov. These details indicate close ties between the regional law enforcement system and criminal world. The main element of their relations is money. This confirms once again: neither reforms nor salary hikes for law enforcement officials can eliminate the trivial human greed. The main principle of corrupt officers is: if the position allows to make ‘side’ money, you must do so.
