Russian policeman involved minors in prostitution
A criminal case is initiated against the police officer.
A police officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Saratov, Russia, became a pimp of five girls – a criminal case over involvement in occupation in prostitution is initiated against the policeman. The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russia Federation of the region reports about it.
As representatives of the department noticed, the police officer acted together with his accomplice. Both young men were detained with the assistance of Administration of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Saratov Region.
The investigation established that the defendants by arrangements and promises of material remuneration involved five girls aged from 17 to 21 in prostitution. Young people were looking for clients, taking girls to them and then bringing them back. Defendants are taken into custody.
In their turn, representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region noted that a service check is begun upon the given fact. If the charges against the police officer are confirmed, he will be dismissed from the bodies for negative motives.
Saburova believes that the Russian authorities violated articles 2 and 5 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, guaranteeing the right to life, as well as the right to freedom and personal inviolability.
