Russians born in 1980s and 1990s said to die young and poor

The generation will face a triple threat: to get sick early in life, be poorer than the others and die at an earlier age than generation X (born in 1961-1981).

Russian millennials, which include those born from 1981 to 1996, will die young and poor, according to a study by the American association Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).

According to BCBS, the generation will face a triple threat: to get sick early in life, be poorer than the others and die at an earlier age than generation X (born in 1961-1981), 360 reports.

The report predicts several possible outcomes. Either the millennials will somehow remedy their situation, or their mortality will increase by 40% compared to the same-age representatives of generation X.

The report says that treatment will cost millennials 33% more than it did generation X at the same age.
