Russia arrests Serbian restaurant owner on murder charges
Slavish Karabashevich is going to be extradited to Serbia.
Sevastopol’s Leninsky district court has arrested a Serbian restaurant owner Slavish Karabashevich who had been put on an international wanted list on a murder charge. Karabashevich is going to be extradited to Serbia, reports the media office of the court.
The restaurant owner is reported to have been arrested till September 11.
In December, 2017, the first regular state court of a city of Požarevac delivered its sentence towards Karabashevich who had earlier been found guilty of murder. When the Russian court was considering the measure of restraint as to Karabashevich, he had already been put on an international wanted list by Interpol.
Slavish Karabashevich was born in Kosovo. He took part in a military conflict in the territory of the region on the side of the Republic of Serbian Krajina. In 2007, he and his family moved to Sevastopol and opened a few restaurants of Serbian cuisine in Crimea. Now, his restaurant is in Sevastopol.
