Rostov region field investigation unit ex-head’s apartment searched
The CrimeRussia wrote about the gang of Rostov werewolves in epaulettes in a series of our publications. In the summer, Nikolay Germashev, one of the leaders of the criminal community, was removed from the post, and then dismissed from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the end of the week in the houses belonging to him, the siloviki conducted searches.
On November 17, searches were held in the private residences belonging to former head of the field investigation unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Rostov region Nikolay Germashev, 1RD.ru reports.
The edition, citing a source in law enforcement agencies, writes that the searches began at 5 pm and lasted until midnight. Apartments of Germashev, which the siloviki searched, are located in the village of Chaltyr of the Myasnikovsky district.
The edition does not disclose reasons for the searches, however, as pthe CrimeRussia previously reported, after departmental check in the Rostov board held after a series of our publications, the head of the field investigation unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Bureau of Internal Affairs of the Rostov region was first removed and then dismissed.
His brother, Lieutenant-Colonel Yevgeny Germashev, was first demoted, and then, on the basis of an official check-up, also dismissed on negative grounds. The third leader of the werewolves’ gang, Deputy Head of the Rostov region police Anatoly Azarov, left the law enforcement agencies to retire on seniority even earlier.
The CrimeRussia wrote about the criminal community in the Rostov MIA in a series of its publications in 2016 and 2017. Lieutenant-Colonel Nikolay and Evgeny Germashevs (Head of the Rostov Criminal Investigation Department), as well as Colonel Anatoly Azarov, led the criminal community in the regional administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to sources, the Germashevs gang fabricated criminal cases against Rostov police officers and extorted money from them; some of the police were tortured.

In addition, gang ‘removed’ unnecessary people from the posts and then sale these posts, as well as ‘roofed’ thieves in law. Law enforcers earned eliminating representatives of one thievish clan in favor of another. In particular, the police patronized thieves Lekha Zlak and Dato Krasnodarsky.
Activity of the gang of werewolves in epaulets was studied since March 2017. According to our data, the auditors have revealed signs of numerous excesses and abuses of official powers in the Rostov BIA. Already on the basis of interim results of audits, it was decided to reconsider several criminal cases initiated by Nikolay Germashev.
