Rostov region: drunk policeman runs over two pedestrians, one of them dies

According to preliminary data, in the evening of February 22, a drunk driver of a police dispatch center was returning home in Chertkovo after a party in the village of Mankovo.
On his way, the sergeant run over two pedestrians. One of the victims died of his injuries on the spot, while the second was hospitalized in serious condition.
The person who caused the accident tried to escape but lost his radiator enclosure at the scene of the accident. It was used to identify his car.
The MIA Main Directorate in the Rostov region has confirmed the incident. A service check has been initiated into it. The police dispatch center driver has been dismissed for defamatory reasons. His immediate superiors face strict disciplinary responsibility for omissions in the preventive and educational work with personnel.
