Regional elections in Russia: Position of Novo-Peredelkino Municipal Council’s head removed for electoral abuse, taken by his deputy
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin dismissed the head and deputy head of the Novo-Peredelkino Municipal Council for "gross violations" during the election campaign.
Oleg Illarionov was appointed Acting Head of the Moscow District of Novo-Peredelkino. A representative of the Municipal Council told TASS about this. Previously, Mr. Illarionov served as the government’s first deputy head for housing and communal services, improvement and construction.
It is to be recalled that on September 9, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin dismissed the head and deputy head of the Novo-Peredelkino Municipal Council for "gross violations" during the election campaign. Earlier, a video was posted on YouTube showing how the deputy head of the Novo-Peredelkino Municipal Council, Svetlana Antonova, gives envelopes with unknown content to representatives of election commissions, calling it "reward" and "advance."
