Putin’s alleged daughter tied to SOGAZ’s nuclear medicine center
Investment in the project will amount to about $475 million.
Maria Vorontsova, who, according to the media, is Putin’s daughter, is a co-owner of the New Medical Company (Nomeko), whose establishment coincided with the decision of the Russian government to allocate a land plot for the construction of a nuclear medicine center in the Leningrad Region. This organization should be among the three best medical organizations in the world, for which about 30 billion rubles ($475 million) are invested in it, RBC reports.
The share of Vorontsova Maria Vladimirovna in Nomeko is 20%. Vorontsova is known as a leading researcher at the National Medical Research Center for Endocrinology of the Ministry of Health and Deputy Chairwoman of the Russian Society of Young Endocrinologists. Vladislav Baranov, the head of the SOGAZ International Medical Center in St. Petersburg, was named CEO of Nomeko. SOGAZ Medicine is responsible for the implementation of a project to create a center for nuclear medicine.
The center is planned to be built by the end of 2021. Its area should exceed 200.000 square meters. The capacity of the future clinic was estimated at about 20 thousand patients per year. The main purpose of the clinic will be the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
