Prostitute stabs resident of Mytischi to death and dies while escaping through window
The woman tried to go down from the seventh floor using tied sheets.
The body of a 56-year-old man with a knife wound in his chest was found in Mytischi, the Moscow Region. Under the window of his apartment, on the canopy of the house entrance, a 34-year-old citizen of Ukraine was laying. According to investigators, the resident of the Moscow Region hired a prostitute who killed him and then tied sheets in a rope and tried to go down using it from the seventh floor, but fell through, the press service of the regional ICR’s Directorate reports.
Why the woman did not use the door to leave the apartment is unclear. Investigators initiated a murder case (para. 1 of Article 105 CCRF). The woman’s body was found by local residents on May 21, after which they called the police. The police who arrived at the scene found the second body.
General’s son Mikhail Sal’nikov, Professor of the Department of Theory of Government and Law at the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Russian Federation, has been detained for real estate fraud. Amid other corruption crimes hitting the headlines, this offense does not seem a high-profile one. But the point is that this is not the first criminal case instituted against professor Sal’nikov, and he is not the only relative of MIA general Viktor Sal’nikov having problems with the law.
