Prisoners of Butyrka jail refuse to play football with Mamaev
The Federal Penitentiary Service decided to cancel the game.
The football match on the territory of the Butyrka pre-trial detention center with the participation of the scandalous footballer Pavel Mamaev, who was arrested for brawl, will not take place. Human rights defender Pavel Pyatnitsky reported this in his Twitter account.
The Federal Penitentiary Service decided to cancel the game. It was previously reported that the match between prisoners had been initially planned as an event to maintain the morale of those under investigation. Pavel Mamaev was supposed to participate in the game.
“I have just learned that the Federal Penitentiary Service decided to cancel the previously approved mini-football event in the pre-trial detention center No. 2 (SIZO-2) with the participation of Mamaev,” Pyatnitsky reported via the social network.
Krasnodar player Pavel Mamaev and Zenit striker Alexander Kokorin are under arrest for committing a debauchery in Moscow. Two Moscow officials and Channel One driver suffered as a result of the brawls that took place in October last year.
