Preliminary cause of aircraft smoke condition at Sheremetyevo revealed
The technological regulations for preparing the airliner for departure could be violated.
The incident with Boeing 737-800 of the Nordwind Airlines at Sheremetyevo airport could occur due to violations in the preparation of the vessel for departure. Interfax reports with reference to an informed source.
“According to preliminary data, the process liquid, which is usually used for washing the engine, entered the air supply system as a result of the alleged violation of the technical regulations. That could provoke smoke in the cabin,” a source said.
