PornHub launches VPN service

In April and May, about 70 anonymizers and VPN services, which, according to Roskomnadzor, provided access to Telegram's messenger, were blocked in Russia.

The world's largest porn site PornHub launched its VPN-service called VPNhub.

The service has both a free and a paid versions. The latter costs 12.99 dollars per month; it provides a faster connection and no advertising. Also, the paid version gives the opportunity to choose a country through which traffic will go (free version connects to the nearest server).

VPNhub has no restrictions on traffic. The developers also promised full anonymity: they will not collect and store users' data. VPNhub works on Mac, Windows, Android and iOS platforms, but desktop versions are available only to paid subscribers.

VPNhub can be downloaded in most countries, except those that are under US sanctions, including Cuba, Iran, and Sudan. Also, developers warn, the service can be blocked in some countries.

In April and May, about 70 anonymizers and VPN services, which, according to Roskomnadzor, provided access to Telegram's messenger, were blocked in Russia. The messenger was blocked in Russia by a court decision after Telegram's refusal to pass encryption keys to users' correspondence.

From September 2016 to April 2017, PornHub was blocked in Russia by a court decision, which found that the website violated the law on the distribution of pornography.
