Politician Nemtsov's murderer to spend his term in colony for law enforcers
Zaur Dadaev, a former member of the Sever (North) battalion, sentenced to 20 years of strict regime for the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov, arrived in the colony, where he will serve his sentence.
According to Rosbalt, which refers to an informed source, on January 11, 2017, Zaur Dadaev was taken to Irkutsk. This colony of strict regime keeps former employees of courts, law enforcement bodies, firemen who committed grave and especially grave crimes.
The location of the remaining convicts is also being clarified. Khamzat Bahaev arrived in one of the colonies of the Kirov region. The brothers Anzor and Shadid Gubashev are now at the prisoner transport - Anzor is being taken to the colony in Karelia, Shadid, most likely, will serve his term on the Yamal Peninsula.
In early January, it was reported that Dadaev would serve his sentence in a penal colony No. 9 in Petrozavodsk. All the time of the investigation in the case he was kept in the Lefortovo detention center.
Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge near the Kremlin on February 27, 2015. In July 2017, Zaur Dadaev, the brothers Anzor and Shadid Gubashev, Temirlan Eskershanov and Khamzat Bakhaev were convicted for his murder. The court appointed 20 years of imprisonment to murderer Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev got 19 years, his brother Shadid - 16 years, Temirlan Eskerhanov and Hamzat Bakhaev are jailed for 14 years and 11 years, respectively.
In October, the Supreme Court upheld the verdict. The defendants themselves deny their guilt. Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov considers this sentence unfair.
The customer of Boris Nemtsov’s murder is former officer of the Sever battalion Ruslan Mukhudinov. He is wanted, and charges are brought against him in absentia. The lawyers of the victims insist that Mukhudinov was a simple driver of Sever battalion commander Ruslan Geremeev, who is considered the organizer of the crime. The investigation twice tried to charge Geremeev, but both resolutions were declined by Head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin. Geremeev does not have the status of a witness. According to Rosbalt, Geremeev secretly lives in Chechnya. However, from time to time he visits weddings and anniversaries of his acquaintances.
Former Head of the Losino-Petrovsky district of the Moscow region, Oleg Fetyukov, did not enjoy his power in the local administration for a long time. Just a year after his appointment, the long-term deputy of Andrey Vikharev voluntarily resigned. The courageous step did not save Fetyukov from arrest. Immediately after this, a number of media outlets stated that Fetyukov was “set up”– the charges seem too small to his defenders. The enemies attributed to Fetyukov did not achieve too much either. So whom does the ex-head of Losino-Petrovsky “replace” under investigation and how long will the investigators be content with the replacement?
