Policeman drug dealer caught in Khanty-Mansiysk
Officers of the Yugra Interdistrict Investigatory Department of the ICR Investigative Committee in the Khanty-Mansiysk District have initiated a criminal case against a policeman drug dealer.
The guardian of order is charged with Preparation for Sale of Narcotic Drugs on a large scale (part 1 Art. 30, item (d), part 4 of Art. 228 of the Russian Criminal Code).
During the investigation it was found that on October 11 this year, the police officer was carrying over 17 grams of narcotic substance in his car. He intended to sell the drugs, but was unable to implement his plan for reasons beyond his control, as he was detained by law enforcement officials.
The suspect has been hospitalized due to health deterioration. After discharge from medical institution, a preventive measure in the form of detention will be selected for him.
Investigation of this criminal case continues.

The Moscow Garrison Military Court has recently detained the retired general for the duration of the investigation. The former police commander is accused of mediation in bribery and bribe extortion. Trutnev was turned in by his former accomplices – FSB officers trying to extort 3 million rubles ($52.3 thousand) from the Director of Snegirev Research Technological Institute in exchange for covering up violations identified at the enterprise.
