Policeman caused accident near Lipetsk, 3 dead
In the Lipetsk region, three people died in a highway accident involving two cars.
The ICR in the Lipetsk region has initiated a criminal case into the accident with three dead.
According to the press service of the regional ICR, August 19, two cars collided on the route of Terbuny-Volovo; a police officer was behind the wheel of one of the cars. The accident claimed the lives of three people, including a 7-year-old boy, his father, and grand mother.
A criminal case under part 3 of Art. 264 of the Russian Criminal Code (Violation of Traffic Rules and Rules for Operation of Transport Vehicles, which has, by negligence, entailed a human death) has been initiated against the police officer. His name and rank have not been disclosed.
