Police release man after torturing schoolgirl who’s now in a coma

After a failed attack, the rejected boyfriend kidnapped the victim and tortured her with a knife.

New Moscow police detained and released a 20-year-old local man on the same day after he broke into the house of his 17-year-old lover who had rejected him and threatened to kill everyone. Three days later, the man took the schoolgirl into the woods, beat her and stabbed multiple times. Moskovsky Komsomolets tells the story.

The young couple dated for about a year. When they broke up, the guy came to the girl's home, broke the window and tried to knock the door out with threats to kill everyone behind it. The schoolgirl, her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were in the house. The police arrived at their call and took the man but found no reason for detention.

On the evening of August 11, the two met for a final talk. The guy took the ex into the woods, hit her on the head with a blow to the ground and attacked the victim with a knife. The rejected boyfriend hit her on the head, neck, chest, breaking through the lungs in four places.

The man tortured her for hours, drinking vodka. Worried by the long absence of her daughter, the mother phoned the girl, and then called the police. The young man was detained, the schoolgirl was taken to a hospital by helicopter and put into an artificial coma. The Moscow headquarters of the ICR opened a criminal case on a murder attempt.
