Police detain two fugitive criminals while watching football match in a crowd
The fugitive criminals were caught while watching the football match.
Two lawbreakers were caught during the match of the 1/4 finals of the 2018 World Cup between the national teams of Russia and Croatia. As reported by Mash telegram channel, Andrei Zgardanov and Rafik Asatryan had been hiding from justice for a year: the first was accused of an attack on a policeman, the second one - for evading military service.
The cautious criminals wanted to watch the match of the national team. Hiding in a crowd did not help Zgardanov and Asatryan to avoid being caught by the police.
Preliminary hearings of the case pertaining to embezzlements committed during the construction of notorious Zenit Arena haven’t commenced yet – but the trial of Marat Oganesyan already ceased to be monotonous. The former Deputy Head of the St. Petersburg Municipal Administration has directly hinted at the involvement of his successor – current Vice Governor Albin – in the embezzlement of billions of rubles.
