Police detain designer for jogging near Moscow City Hall
The man was thrown to the ground and got his leg injured.
According to designer Konstantin Konovalov, he has been detained by law enforcers near the Moscow City Hall.
“They detained me and threw me face to the ground when I was jogging in front of the city hall. When they were doing it, they injured my leg. I requested medical assistance,” Konovalov twitted.

According to him, the police were watching Aleksey Navalny’s video in a paddy wagon.
Konovalov is a famous Moscow designer. He was one of the developers of the new Moscow Metro logo.
Earlier, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin said that “provocations” were being prepared at opposition rallies in Moscow.
The uncoordinated rally against the withdrawal of independent candidates to the Moscow City Duma is scheduled for 14:00 Moscow time on July 27. Ilya Yashin and Anti-Corruption Foundation Press Secretary Kira Yarmysh have already been detained. Yulia Galyamina, a candidate for the Moscow City Duma, said that her home was searched.
