Peskov’s daughter laments she has to make expensive purchases in Europe
She complained about the price difference to journalists from a Russian glossy publication.
21-year-old daughter of Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, Liza, who is studying in one of the prestigious French universities in Paris, has complained that the prices for clothing in Russia are higher than in European countries. She complained about the price difference to journalists from a Russian glossy publication.
“I do not make expensive purchases so often, only when I earn myself, so I take it from there. I rarely buy stuff in Russia; the prices are higher than in Europe, unfortunately,” Peskova said.
Peskov’s daughter also added that it is “inappropriate” for Europeans to have their parents pay for their purchases.
“I do not make large purchases. None of my friends do. In Europe, our peers consider it inappropriate when someone’s parents or anyone else pays for their purchases. As for me, I have yet to earn enough to buy something big,” the girl told journalists.
In addition, Peskova lamented that she cannot afford to buy expensive brand watches.
